Traversing Switzerland from the Engadine to the Lake of Geneva by E-Bike, that’s the classic Swiss Alpine Bike Route. You ride from world famous destinations through lonely valleys, over alpine passes and enjoy stunning views, idyllic nature, learn about people and culture, tradition and history, day by day, highlight after highlight. Gravel roads alternate with paved sections and sometimes single trails, usually with little to no traffic. It’s discovering Switzerland, a pure bike pleasure!

From Meiringen to Grindelwald, the first highlight awaits you: Grosse Scheidegg below the mighty Wetterhorn. Then follows the Kleine Scheidegg and the world-famous trio Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau greets you from high above. Now you continue from the deeply cut Lauterbrunnen Valley up to the sunny terrace of Mürren and furher to famous Interlaken. Then along Lake Thun to Frutigen and Adelboden before reaching the western part of the Bernese Alps and finally arriving in glamorous Gstaad.

Trails with smaller obstacles: small roots/stones/water gullies, partly unpaved, gradient: little steep to moderately steep up to 40%, tighter turns (S1), riding technique: basic skills required, ride standing up.
