Gravel roads with smaller obstacles: shallow roots, small stones or water channels. Little to moderately steep (up to 40%), tighter bends (S1). Basic skills and riding while standing are required.
For outdoor enthusiasts who like to be on the go all day! Bring experience from day trips and prepare well with regular fitness training. Cycling times up to approx. 6 hrs, up to 50 km (e-bike up to approx. 70 km).

Day 1 You start from Meiringen and pass the Grosse Scheidegg to Grindelwald. Visit the impressive Reichenbach falls or Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge along the route. (E-bike time: 4-5 h, distance: 32 km, ascent/descent: 1650/1075 meters)
Day 2 Cycle up just underneath the impressive Eiger North Face to Kleine Scheidegg before reaching one of the moste beautiful mountain villages in the Bernese Oberland: Wengen. Then you dive into the deeply incised valley of Lauterbrunnen with its stunning waterfalls. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 20 km, ascent/descent: 1150/1300 meters)
Day 3 Lift up to Gimmelwald, a sunnyside terrace above the Lauterbrunnen valley, by gondola. Then pedal to Mürren where high up on the Schilthorn the James Bond movie “In Her Majesty's Secret Service” was filmed. Enjoy then a gentle ride with a stunning view towards Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau to Isenfluh and down the hill to well known Interlaken. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 30 km, ascent/descent: 750/1500 meters)
Day 4 It is a gentle ride along the Lake of Thun before you climb up to Adelboden via the lovely villages with its farmhouses scattered in the landscape and accompanied by the typical Simmental cows. (E-bike time: 6 h, distance: 43 km, ascent/descent: 1380/600 meters)
Day 5 Take advantage of a full load of e-power to get to the Hahnenmoos pass where the horizon opens towards the gentle Saanen area. You flow down to the mountain village of Lenk where you stay for the night. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 20 km, ascent/descent: 730/940 meters)
Day 6 Your final stage takes you to glamorous Gstaad. Over the Rüwlispass you reach the Saanenland, enjoy the unique view into the gentle and at the same time wild mountain world and roll the last meters to the finish in Gstaad with its magnificent "chalets". Some of them are the home of stars, among them Madonna. (E-bike time: 5-6 h, distance: 41 km, ascent/descent: 1530/1750 meters)
