Western Switzerland, Valais, and Jura Mountains

An elegant connection through western Switzerland and Romandy can be found along Lake Geneva, from international Geneva to Olympic Lausanne, the Lavaux wine region, and historic Montreux with its famous Chillon Castle and music.

To the south, the Valais welcomes its guests with a spectacular high mountain panorama, where the world-famous Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn and the glacier-surrounded Saas-Fee delight visitors as car-free Alpine destinations.

In sharp contrast, the Jura, the little sister of the Alps, shows itself from both a gentle and wild side: The Vallée de Joux is a natural paradise for hikers and the cradle of fine watchmaking. In La Chaux-de-Fonds, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to the watchmaking industry, urban planning and precision craftsmanship merge in a unique way. A vibrant culture and first-class gastronomy round off the experience.
