The Jura mountains, the little sister of the Alps, inspire with a magnificent nature and the rich heritage of the Swiss watch industry. The route leads leisurely on low-traffic roads over the wide Jura heights and offers spectacular views of the Alps as well as exciting insights into the tradition and culture of the Jura Neuchâtelois.

  • Discover the five natural highlights of the Jura mountains: the Doubs River, the Creux du Van, the Etang de la Gruère, the source of Noiraigue and the Areuse Gorge.
  • Get to know the UNESCO World Heritage Site of La Chaux-de-Fonds and learn more about the precise watchmaking craft on a tour of the International Watch Museum.
  • Learn more about the origin of Absinthe in the Val-de-Travers, refresh yourself with an “Absinthe Verte” and hear exciting stories about the “Green Fairy”.

Enjoying sporty activity in nature! Tour with some effort and a sweat on the brow from time to time. Do regular sport in preparation. Cycling times up to 4 hrs, up to approx. 50 km.
