Reaching form Zurich to Geneva the Jura mountains are the little sisters of the Alps. The sparsely populated area with its great nature and a very rich heritage as the origin of the Swiss Watches is an eldorado for cycling. Either paved or gravel roads with only little to no traffic lead over the Jura heights and valleys and offer a spectacular view towards the snow mountains but as well a rich insight into the tradition and culture of this French part of Switzerland.

This offer is exclusively for women, led by a female hiking guide. The trekking is part of the 100% Women campaign of Switzerland Tourism.

Start trekking exactly on the "Röschtigraben" in Biel Bienne, the German-French language border in the middle of the Three Lakes Region.
Discover the vast and lonely Jura landscape, the Chasseral with its imposing view of the Alps, the mighty Creux du Van rock arena or the fall of the river Doubs combined with a boat trip on the idyllic Lac des Brenets.
Visit La Chaux-de-Fonds, the watch metropolis and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn more about the history of time and the special architecture of the Corbusier city.
Indulge in a culinary treat with a sip of white wine from the vineyards at the southern foothills of the Jura, Tête de Moine or Vacherin cheese and a hearty Saucisse d'Ajoie.

Tarred and gravel roads without difficulties. Little steepness (S0). No special (e-)bike experience required.

Easy - active! Ideal trekking for beginners with light effort and a sweat on the brow from time to time. Do regular sport in preparation. Cycling times up to 4 hrs, up to approx. 30 km (e-bike up to approx. 50 km).
