Day 1 Arrival and welcoming. You start in Biel next to the beautiful lake of Biel where some of the best grapes of Switzerland grow. Taste a glass of that fruitful white wine on the evening before you start! E-Bike handover and setting.
Day 2 Cycle up the mount Chasseral. Not many places in Switzerland offer a better view on the Alps: from far in the East to the Jungfrau area and the Mont Blanc you can enjoy the vast panorama. Then you reach La Chaux-de-Fonds. It’s not only the Swiss Watch town where brands as Tissot, Cartier, Omega and many more origin from and still produce. It is the birth town of Louis Chevrolet and Le Corbusier too and it is rewarded as a UN word heritage area. (E-bike time: 4-5 h, distance: 47 km, ascent/descent: 1350/1220 meters)
Day 3 La Chaux-de-Fonds is a good reason to spend a day. Take a tour of the town, visit the Museum of Swiss Watches and ride to Brenets to the lake of the same name and the Saut du Doubs, an impressive waterfall. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 34 km, ascent/descent: 880/870 metres).
Day 4 Then you continue the route towards the impressive Creux du Van, a massive alcove deeply incised into the Jurassic folds. Only a short ride leads you to Fleurier, a town that borders with France. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 53 km, ascent/descent: 1000/1240 meters)
Day 5 You cross the border to France and enjoy a croissant “en route” from a traditional bakery. It couldn’t taste any better than here! In the evening back in Switzerland you reach the Lac de Joux a lake with only a river flowing into but not outside… Anyway, a bath recovers from pedaling and then enjoy the evening in a hotel next to the water. (E-bike time: 3-4 h, distance: 45 km, ascent/descent: 970/710 meters)
Day 6 On your last day you do your final climb to the Col de Marchairuz close to the highest peak of the Swiss Jura – La Dôle, 1677 m. From here you feel as you could plunge into the Lake Geneva far below. Enjoy the ride down to the shore and reach Geneva in the evening. (E-bike time: 4 h, distance: 53 km, ascent/descent: 660/11290 meters)
