Day 1 Welcome to Lucerne! Be enchanted by the Lion Monument, the old town and the Chapel Bridge, the Reuss River and Lake Lucerne, and the mountain backdrop of Central Switzerland. Discover the hidden corners of the city and indulge yourself at one of Switzerland's finest chocolatiers.
Day 2 Discover the monastery village of Engelberg and the idyllic, crystal-clear Lake Engstlen, surrounded by thousands of Alpine Roses. Enjoy a traditional homemade lunch at the historic Hotel Engstlenalp before walking through the deeply carved Aare Gorge.
Day 3 From Grindelwald, the panoramic hiking trail leads you under the towering north face of the Eiger into the peaceful and natural Reichenbach Valley. You will return to Grindelwald via the spectacular pass road over the Grosse Scheidegg.
Day 4 Discover the deeply carved glacier valley of Lauterbrunnen with its 72 waterfalls, including the famous Staubbach Falls. Then hike past the majestic Jungfrau to the car-free chalet villages of Mürren and Gimmelwald.
Day 5 Enjoy the ride aboard the famous GoldenPass Express, perhaps Switzerland's most beautiful railway line, from Interlaken to Montreux, and combine a stopover in glamorous Gstaad with a walk across the vast pastures and a delicious fondue meal in Gstaad's oldest inn.
Day 6 The Riviera attracts with its charming Mediterranean flair, and neighboring Lavaux with a wine hike through the terraces of the UNESCO World Heritage region. Of course, always with a view of the shimmering green-blue Lake Geneva and the snow-capped mountains in the background, and also with tastings of exquisite wines!
Day 7 Enjoy one last view of the vast Lake Geneva before bidding farewell to the music city of Montreux, with its legends from Queen to Deep Purple. Geneva and Zurich are easily accessible for your journey home or onward travel.
