Tag 1 After the welcome, there is a short gondola ride to the terrace of Serpiano high above Lago di Lugano. The hike leads through chestnut forests directly from the hotel towards Monte San Giorgio. Welcome to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important fossil deposits of the Middle Triassic period, a geological era between 247 and 237 million years ago. The destination of the hike is Meride, steeped in history, in the middle of the vineyards of the Mendrisiotto. (Walking time: 4 h, distance: 11 km, ascent/descent: 660/660 meters).
Day 2 A short gondola and boat ride takes you to Morcote on the other side of the lake. Here the e-bike is already waiting for you and you can ride along the shore of Lake Lugano through beautiful Ticino villages. A stop at one of the gelaterias is recommended in Caslano at the latest. Then you reach the Tenuta di Vallombrosa in the Malcantone hills, where you are invited on a wine tour. Afterwards, enjoy an overnight stay at the top of Monte Lema. (E-bike time: 3 h, distance: approx. 30 km, ascent/descent: approx. 315/175 meters).
Day 3 Vom Monte Lema folgt eine der spektakulärsten Wanderungen des Tessins über den Höhenweg Richtung Monte Tamaro. Das Panorama reicht von den Ost- bis zu den Westalpen mit den hohen 4000er Gipfeln, weit unten glitzern der Lago di Lugano und Maggiore und gegen Süden schimmert im Dunst bereits die Poebene. Am Abend gelangst du zur Alpe di Neggia und nach Via ins Gambarogno. (Gehzeit: 4.30 h, Distanz: 12.5 km, Auf-/Abstieg: 770/915 meters).
Day 4 Discover the Soppraceneri today and learn more about its culture and history on the nature trail "Tra Monti e Lago". Then the boat will take you to the other side of the lake to Locarno and finally the gourmet tour "in gir par cantin" awaits you. Discover wine and other delicacies in the Maggia delta by bike. (Walking time: 1 h, distance: 4 km, ascent/descent: 110/50 meters).
